Interview with Miss Thitapa, Exchange student at University of California at Santa Barbara, California, USA.

Interviewer:      May you please introduce yourself?

Miss Thitapa:     My name is Thitapa Sukkasem or June. I’m a fourth year accounting major. In my 3rd year, I had the chance to be part of the exchange program to University of California at Santa Barbara, California, USA.

Interviewer:      How would you describe your exchange experience?

Miss Thitapa:     It was pretty awesome and memorable. I met some great people and did a lot of things I otherwise wouldn't have had the chance to do.

Interviewer:      How has Thammasat Business School prepared you to be ready to study abroad?

Miss Thitapa:     I think TBS has pretty much laid out all the fundamental basis I needed. May it be academics, language, mindset and social issues, I didn't have any trouble adjusting at all.

Interviewer:      What was the most difficult problem you faced and how did you overcome it?

Miss Thitapa:     The classes were a little different. They use a somewhat different approach in teaching there, and that took some discipline.

Interviewer:      What did you gain from joining this exchange program?

Miss Thitapa:     New friends, experience, and insight. I had the chance to meet a lot of people think differently and had different opinions which, I think, help broaden my perspective.

Interviewer:      What activities did you do or join while studying abroad? (E.g. Clubs, parties, events, internship, volunteer, travels etc.)

Miss Thitapa:     I took fencing classes - that was very fun. There were also a lot of parties. I also joined the Thai club there. That allowed me to meet a lot of people.

Interviewer:      Thank you very much for your time.

Be the Best Always,

PATRAPATU C.
